Overview

lyyvideo is operated by lyyvideo ("we", "us"). This document applies to the website at lyyvideo.com and to the workspace behind it, and it covers every video you upload and every account you bind.

Accepting these terms

By creating a workspace, signing in or using any part of lyyvideo you agree to these terms. If you are accepting them for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that organisation to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your account and your TikTok connection

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your workspace account and for keeping access to it secure. Binding a TikTok account is a separate, optional step that you perform through TikTok own authorization screen; you must own the account you bind or be authorised to publish to it. The same applies to every video you upload: you must hold the rights to the footage, the music and the likeness of anyone appearing in it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to do any of the following:

  • Publish content that breaks the TikTok Community Guidelines, the TikTok Branded Content Policy or the Music Usage Confirmation attached to a post.
  • Operate the service through automated means that are not the interfaces we provide, or attempt to bypass TikTok rate limits, review or disclosure requirements.
  • Share an account in a way that hides who is really publishing, or upload content you do not have the rights to.
  • Probe, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to data belonging to another workspace.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to publish a video to TikTok and to show you what happened to it afterwards.

  • Account identifiers returned by TikTok: open id, display name, avatar URL and the granted scopes.
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens for the accounts you bind.
  • The video files you upload, together with the caption, privacy level and interaction settings you choose.
  • Publish results per attempt: task id, status, timestamps and the error message when TikTok rejects a post.
  • Basic workspace data: your email address, the language you selected and the accounts in your team.
  • Operational logs, which contain request metadata and never the content of a credential.

TikTok tokens and how they are stored

We never ask for your TikTok password. Tokens are stored encrypted.

The TikTok authorization flow returns an access token and a refresh token instead of a password. Both are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to storage, using a key that lives only on the server. A token is decrypted in memory for the moment it is needed to call TikTok, then discarded. Because no password is ever involved, revoking access is a single action: unbind the account here, or remove the app in your TikTok settings.

Video files and temporary storage

Uploaded videos are written to a temporary upload folder so the publishing task can read them while the post is being created. That folder is not a permanent archive: the rules below say exactly how long each file stays.

  • As soon as a publish succeeds, the video file and its cover image are deleted from our storage immediately. Only the publish record remains on our side.
  • A temporary upload that is not referenced by any publish task is deleted automatically after 24 hours; drafts sent to your TikTok inbox use the same temporary folder and the same rule.
  • Files in the media library are the same temporary uploads: once no publish task references one, it is removed by the same 24-hour cleanup.
  • Publish records keep the task id, status and timestamps for 12 months; the video and the cover image are never kept with them.
  • Deleting a video removes its stored file. Unbinding an account deletes the encrypted access and refresh tokens for that account. Posts already published on TikTok stay on TikTok and are managed there.

Your right to disconnect at any time

Binding a TikTok account is optional and reversible. You can unbind from the accounts page without asking us and without explaining why.

  • Unbinding deletes the encrypted access and refresh tokens stored for that account immediately.
  • You can also revoke the application from your TikTok account settings; the workspace then stops being able to publish.
  • You may ask us to delete your workspace data, and we act on that request within one month.
  • Videos that TikTok has already published stay on TikTok until you delete them there.

Your content

You keep ownership of the videos and captions you upload. You grant us only the limited permission required to store, transmit and publish them through the TikTok API on your instruction, and to keep the publish records described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your videos to train anything, and we do not resell them.

Third-party services

Publishing depends on TikTok and on the platform that brokers the TikTok API connection. Their availability, review decisions and policy changes are outside our control, and an individual post may be rejected or limited by TikTok regardless of what this workbench reports. Where a result depends on a third party, the service shows the status it received rather than an estimate.

Availability and warranty

The service is provided as is and as available. Scheduled work depends on services we do not run, so we do not guarantee that a scheduled post will be delivered at an exact minute, nor that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost reach, lost revenue, a removed or limited TikTok post, or any indirect or consequential loss resulting from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and unbind your accounts at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if we are required to by law, or if continuing would put other workspaces or the TikTok integration at risk. Where it is possible, we tell you why and give you the chance to export your publishing history.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. If a change materially affects how you may use the service, we notify the email address on the workspace account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
